BNI and Unpad Expand Digital Services for Campus Ecosystem
PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BNI) is expanding its cooperation with Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad) through the development of digital banking services to support the needs of students, academics, institutions, and alumni.
The partnership encompasses Single Tuition Fee (UKT) payment services via Virtual Accounts, BNIdirect cash management, e-Collection, QRIS, and Electronic Data Capture (EDC). BNI also provides several services for students and alumni, including flexible financing for Master’s and Doctoral degrees, as well as the Unpad Alumni Association Card.
The Rector of Unpad, Prof. Arief Sjamsulaksan Kartasasmita, expressed his appreciation for the ongoing collaboration with BNI. “I would like to thank BNI, which has contributed significantly and worked with us in various capacities,” Arief stated in a release on Sunday (20/09/2026).
The partnership between BNI and Unpad has been strengthened since 2021 through the signing of a memorandum of understanding regarding the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and the provision of banking services. The cooperation has since evolved to include transaction management and funding. BNI also supports the development of Unpad’s endowment fund through donation facilities using the ‘wondr by BNI’ platform.
The collaboration does not only target institutional needs. BNI is also partnering with the Universitas Padjadjaran Alumni Association (IKA Unpad) through the management of organisational accounts and the IKA Unpad Affinity Credit Card.
Most recently, BNI supported the organisation of the Jatinangor Music Fest, held by IKA Unpad as part of the Homecoming Festival in conjunction with Unpad’s 69th Anniversary. The event took place at the Unpad Red Field, Jatinangor, Sumedang, West Java, on Saturday (19/09/2026). During the event, BNI provided digital transaction services and supported payment systems for visitors and tenants.
Arief expressed his hope that the partnership with BNI will continue to grow and benefit the world of education. “I hope BNI will become even stronger, establishing itself as a flagship bank in Indonesia, and continue to contribute effectively to education,” said Arief.
