BNI Accelerates Resolution of CU Paroki Aek Nabara Fund Reimbursement
PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI has confirmed that the process of reimbursing funds to customers of the Credit Union (CU) Paroki Aek Nabara in North Sumatra has been completed faster than the set target. BNI’s Director of Human Capital & Compliance, Munadi Herlambang, stated that BNI has transferred funds amounting to Rp21,257,360,600 to CU Paroki Aek Nabara, complementing the previous reimbursement of Rp7,000,000,000. “The total funds reimbursed to CU Paroki Aek Nabara now reach Rp28,257,360,600. With this, the entire reimbursement process is declared complete,” Munadi said in Jakarta on Wednesday, 22 April 2026. He added that the resolution was realised more quickly than the initial plan, which was targeted for completion on Friday, 24 April 2026. Munadi emphasised that this completion is the result of cooperation among various parties to ensure the process runs smoothly and provides certainty for affected customers. BNI also expressed thanks for the patience and cooperation from all parties during this process. “We view this process as a joint effort to resolve the issue properly. Our focus is to ensure the resolution proceeds smoothly and provides certainty for all parties,” Munadi concluded.
