BNC Forgoes Dividend Despite Reporting Profit of Rp565 Billion, Management's Reasons
Jakarta, VIVA - The digital bank issuer, PT Bank Neo Commerce or BNC (BBYB), has decided not to distribute dividends despite booking a net profit for the 2025 fiscal year of Rp565.69 billion. This action was taken through the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS).
The company’s net profit figure saw a significant increase of approximately 27.5 times compared to the 2024 net profit of Rp19.88 billion. The company’s management chose to allocate the entire profit as retained earnings to strengthen the capital structure.
“This decision was taken as a strategic step to strengthen the company’s capital structure in order to support sustainable business growth,” said BNC’s President Director, Eri Budiono, quoted from Antara on Wednesday, 6 May 2026.
Eri emphasised that the positive performance achievement throughout 2025 was the result of ongoing efforts to strengthen business fundamentals, maintain growth quality, and improve operational efficiency.
“Going forward, we will continue to enhance organisational capabilities and drive service innovations so that the company can grow healthily and sustainably as a bank with digital services that are relevant to the needs of society,” said Eri.
In the AGMS, shareholders approved the appointment of Adrian Wibisono Soewardjo and Indra Aditya Sanjaya as the company’s Directors, effective after obtaining approval from the Financial Services Authority. The reshuffle of the company’s top ranks aims to ensure that the strategic direction runs more effectively and integrated.
Adrian is known as a banker with around 25 years of experience in the banking industry, including in the digital banking sector. Meanwhile, Indra has a track record of more than 15 years in risk management in the financial industry.
Meanwhile, Aditya Wahyu Windarwo and Ricko Irwanto, who have served since 2021, officially ended their tenure as the company’s Directors. The AGMS also approved the reappointment of Inkawan D. Jusi as Independent President Commissioner.
