Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk (BNBR) recorded revenue of Rp1.13 trillion in the first quarter of 2026, an increase of 19.02% or Rp181.38 billion compared to the same period in the previous year, which stood at Rp953.80 billion.

“In the midst of extraordinary global economic turbulence, Alhamdulillah BNBR continues to consistently demonstrate positive financial performance in the first three months of this year, with proud growth,” said BNBR President Director & CEO Anindya Novyan Bakrie in a statement in Jakarta on Thursday.

The company also booked EBITDA of Rp296.44 billion, up 252.43% or Rp212.33 billion from the same period in the previous year, which was Rp84.11 billion.

In line with that, Anin—as Anindya is affectionately known—stated that the company also achieved a 240.03% increase in operating profit, or an rise of Rp149.62 billion from Rp62.33 billion in the same period the previous year, reaching Rp211.96 billion in the first quarter of 2026.

Likewise, Anin continued, the increase in EBITDA came from CCT’s contribution of Rp126.6 billion or 50.4% of BNBR’s consolidated total EBITDA.

“The increase in operating profit is also supported by CCT’s contribution of Rp128.6 billion or 77% of BNBR’s consolidated total operating profit,” Anin added.

BNBR Chief Financial Officer Roy Hendrajanto M. Sakti added that in the first quarter of 2026, the PT Bakrie Indo Infrastructure (BIIN) Group showed a 274.6% revenue increase or Rp207.6 billion, mainly from CCT revenue.

The PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (VKTR) Group business unit recorded a 58.2% revenue increase or Rp126.9 billion.

That revenue was supported by an increase in VKTR holding revenue of Rp114.8 billion or 9,510.0%. Additionally, PT VKTR Sakti Industries (VKTS) recorded a revenue increase of Rp88.0 billion or 854.5%.

“The PT Bakrie Autoparts (BA) Group also recorded a revenue increase of Rp13 billion or 6.3% due to growing demand for automotive components,” Roy said.

Nevertheless, in this business unit, it was still offset by an increase in revenue from PT Southeast Asia Pipe Industries (SEAPI) of Rp1.1 billion or 2.6%, derived from sales in the Non-Oil & Gas (OG) sector.

“We are optimistic that in the future there will be revenue increases in the pipe and EPC sectors for oil & gas in line with upcoming projects that will enter in the first semester of 2026,” Roy stated.
