BMW Japan links dealers via Intranet
TOKYO: BMW Japan Corp plans to link its 77 sales outlets via an intranet system within several months.
As Japanese sales of BMWs fall, the company is looking to boost efficiency and coordination among its dealers, providing them with real-time access to information on financing, repairs and promotions.
BMW Japan Finance Corp, a subsidiary of BMWJ, will be in charge of setting up the intranet.
