BMRI Draws Students at Jogja Financial Festival With This Approach
Amid the bustle of Jogja Financial Festival 2026’s opening day, the booth of PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) offered something different for visitors. At the booth, Bank Mandiri presented a game called ‘catch the stick’, a skill game that tests players’ eye–hand reflexes. The game drew crowds to the bank’s booth, which bears the yellow ribbon logo, with many visitors, especially high school students. Through the game, participants must have quick reflexes to catch a stick falling from an automated device released at random. In the end, the 20 participants with the most sticks will win tickets to watch the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL) Playoffs. The event also features a darts game, where players throw small darts at a circular target board. To experience the excitement, Bank Mandiri offered participants the chance to open a Now savings account via the Livin app or other banking products. Visitors could also receive a fan, a pouch, a folding umbrella, and a tumbler for those lucky. The requirement is simple: simply play the Lucky Spin after opening an account. Those who have become Bank Mandiri customers and participate in the Lucky Spin can take their prizes home immediately.
