Mob kills two security guards of paper mill: Two security guards
of a pulp and paper mill were killed in a clash with a mob on
Sunday. Their bodies were found floating in the Kampar river in
Riau on Tuesday.

Marcus, 30, and Hendra, 25, were killed when a mob attacked
the factory in protest of the company's rejection to buy or
transport their illegal logs following an increase in
international pressure.

Nandik Suparyono, the spokesman for PT Riau Andalan Pulp and
Paper, confirmed the deaths but denied accusations that the
company had frequently purchased illegal logs from the locals.
The local police are investigating the case. --JP
