Meanwhile, the areas of Jambi, Pangkal Pinang, and Bandar Lampung are forecast to experience thick cloudy conditions.

For Java Island, Jakarta, along with Serang and Semarang, is predicted to be covered in thick clouds. Based on validated data at 06:50 WIB, the temperature in Jakarta (Gambir) was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius with clear conditions, while Bandung (Citarum) was at 22 degrees Celsius. However, the Yogyakarta and Surabaya areas still have the potential for light rain throughout the day.

The public is asked to be on alert for potential heavy to very heavy rainfall in certain regions. In Kalimantan, the potential for thunderstorms should be watched for in Pontianak, Samarinda, and Tanjung Selor. Similar conditions are also predicted for Palu, Central Sulawesi. Meanwhile, eastern Indonesian regions such as Maluku and Papua will mostly experience light to moderate rain, including in Ternate, Ambon, Nabire, and Merauke.

BMKG urges people who are active outdoors to carry rain gear and monitor the latest weather developments through official BMKG channels to anticipate sudden weather changes.
