BMKG: Jakarta Expected to Experience Rain from Saturday Morning Through Evening
Jakarta (ANTARA) — The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has forecast light rain with thunderstorms across parts of the DKI Jakarta region from Saturday morning through to the evening.
According to details published on its official website, BMKG expects light rain to thunderstorms across all Jakarta districts during the morning, including West Jakarta, North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, East Jakarta, South Jakarta and the Thousand Islands.
By midday, Central Jakarta, West Jakarta and the Thousand Islands are expected to be cloudy, whilst North Jakarta, East Jakarta and South Jakarta are forecast to experience light rain.
During the afternoon, light rain is expected across Jakarta, with the exception of the Thousand Islands, where heavy cloud cover is anticipated.
Into the evening, Jakarta is forecast to experience moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorms.
Air temperatures in Jakarta on Saturday morning are expected to range between a minimum of 24 and 28 degrees Celsius, rising to between 28 and 29 degrees Celsius by midday, before falling to between 24 and 27 degrees Celsius in the evening.
