BMKG: Friday sees widespread light rain across Indonesia

He also noted that atmospheric dynamics cause the weather potential to be quite significant in several areas of Indonesia. Therefore, he said, public preparedness should be enhanced to face potential heavy to very heavy rain in the Bangka Belitung Islands, Banten, Jakarta, West Java, Central Java, the Special Region of Yogyakarta, West Nusa Tenggara, and East Nusa Tenggara.
