BMKG Forecasts Rain Across Jakarta Monday Afternoon to Evening

Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts that most of Jakarta will experience rain from Monday afternoon until evening.

According to BMKG’s official Instagram account @infobmkg, moderate rain is expected across the capital from 4pm WIB in West, Central, South, and East Jakarta, while North Jakarta will see light rain and the Thousand Islands Regency will be cloudy.

Moderate rain is forecast to continue from 7pm WIB in West, Central, South, and East Jakarta, with North Jakarta experiencing light showers and the Thousand Islands Regency remaining cloudy.

By 10pm WIB until early Tuesday, skies will clear in Central, South, East, and North Jakarta, while West Jakarta is expected to be partly cloudy and the Thousand Islands Regency stays cloudy.

Earlier on Monday at 7am WIB, West, Central, and North Jakarta were partly cloudy, while the Thousand Islands, East, and South Jakarta experienced hazy conditions.

Later at 1pm WIB, parts of Jakarta were cloudy, including West Jakarta, North Jakarta, and the Thousand Islands Regency, with East Jakarta under thick clouds and North Jakarta forecast to be hazy.

Temperatures in Jakarta are expected to range from 24 to 30 degrees Celsius, with wind speeds between 1 and 20 kilometres per hour.
