The Meteorological, Climatological, and Geophysical Agency (BMKG) forecasts rain across all Jakarta areas on Monday afternoon. Based on BMKG’s weather forecast, all Jakarta regions are expected to be overcast in the morning, with light rain intensifying from afternoon to evening. Nighttime will see cloudy conditions across all areas, except the Thousand Islands which remain overcast throughout the day. Temperatures in Jakarta are expected to range between 25 and 32 degrees Celsius, with wind speeds of 2 to 12 kilometres per hour. BMKG advises the public to remain vigilant about changing weather conditions and prepare necessary equipment for outdoor activities. DKI Jakarta’s Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) has also urged residents to stay alert for potential flood risks from rain and contact emergency services at 112 if needed. The service is available free of charge 24 hours a day.
