BMKG Forecasts Light Rain Across Most of Indonesia on Monday
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts that most regions in Indonesia have the potential for light rain on Monday. Based on the official BMKG website in Jakarta on Monday, light rain is predicted to occur in the cities of Ambon, Bandung, Bengkulu, Jambi, Kendari, and Manado. Furthermore, the cities of Semarang, Serang, Sofifi, Tanjungpinang, and Yogyakarta are also forecast to experience light rain. Weather in a number of cities, such as Jakarta, Banda Aceh, Banjarbaru, Merauke, Nabire, Padang, Sorong, and Surabaya is predicted to be cloudy. Meanwhile, the cities of Mamuju and Medan have the potential for moderate intensity rain. The cities of Bandarlampung and Pekanbaru are forecast to have hazy conditions. The weather in the cities of Denpasar, Gorontalo, Jayawijaya, Kupang, Makassar, Mataram, and Palu is predicted to be sunny today. The cities of Jayapura and Tanjung Selor are forecast to be partly cloudy. BMKG urges the public to be aware of the potential for thunderstorms in Pontianak City.
