REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SEMARANG – Police have yet to identify the perpetrator of the shooting of Amat Muzakhim (55 years old) which occurred in Capgwen Village, Kedungwuni Timur, Pekalongan Regency, Central Java. Amat is known to be the husband of Nur Fatwah, a member of the Central Java Provincial DPRD from the United Development Party (PPP).

The Head of the Criminal Investigation Directorate of the Central Java Police, Kombes Anwar Nasir, revealed that the shooting case involving Amat is being handled by the Pekalongan Police. However, the Central Java Police is providing assistance.

Anwar said that in an effort to identify the perpetrator, investigators have examined 12 CCTV recordings around the crime scene. However, this has not been very helpful in identifying the perpetrator.

“Currently, we are still facing obstacles with the CCTV footage, because the incident occurred at night, it was slightly drizzling, and the resolution of the CCTV is also somewhat poor,” said Anwar when interviewed at the Central Java Police Headquarters, Wednesday (25/2/2026).

“We are still continuing to examine other CCTV footage to obtain the identity of the perpetrator,” Anwar added.

He revealed that so far, investigators have also examined at least nine witnesses, including the victim, Amat Muzakhim. Among the witnesses, some also saw the motorcycle used by the perpetrator of the shooting.
