Blueray Cargo Boss Claims He Gave Rp 21 Billion to Customs DG, KPK: We Will Conduct a Comprehensive Analysis
The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has responded to the testimony of Blueray Cargo boss John Field, who stated he gave Rp 21 billion to Customs and Excise Director General Djaka Budi. The KPK will further investigate this testimony within the corruption case at the customs and excise agency.
“These facts emerged during the trial from the testimony of parties asked to explain the construction of the case, the parties suspected of involvement, or the flow of money,” said KPK Spokesperson Budi Prasetyo to reporters on Monday (15/6/2026).
The KPK confirmed that John Field’s testimony will be scrutinised by KPK investigators. The testimony will subsequently be reported to the KPK leadership, especially as there are still other suspects being processed by the KPK.
“This will certainly become a comprehensive analysis by the KPK Public Prosecutor to be reported later to the leadership, including during the investigation phase, as there is currently still one suspect, namely Mr B, whose case is still ongoing,” said Budi.
He confirmed that the facts presented in the trial will enrich the process of proving the main case or could later become new material that may allow for the development of the investigation.
