Deddy Kurniawan Sukolo, Operational Manager of Blueray Cargo, has admitted to providing entertainment facilities to Orlando Hamonangan, the Head of Customs Intelligence Section I at the Directorate of Enforcement and Investigation. Deddy stated the entertainment, in the form of karaoke, was valued at Rp 40 million.

This was revealed during Deddy’s examination as a defendant in a customs import bribery case at the Jakarta Corruption Court on Friday (12/6/2026). Orlando is also a suspect in the case but has not yet been tried.

During the hearing, a prosecutor asked Deddy to confirm the provision of entertainment facilities. “Oh, yes,” Deddy replied. When asked about the budget, Deddy confirmed the karaoke cost Rp 40 million.

Deddy stated that Blueray paid for the karaoke facility for Orlando, though he could not recall whether the payment was made in cash. He admitted the entertainment was provided to make Orlando happy and that such karaoke sessions were arranged on three separate occasions.

In this case, KPK prosecutors have charged three Blueray Cargo executives with bribery related to goods importation at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise. The defendants are John Field, head of Blueray Cargo; Deddy Kurniawan Sukolo, Operational Manager; and Andri, head of the Blueray Cargo documents team. Prosecutors allege the three provided bribes totalling Rp 61.3 billion in Singapore dollars, along with various facilities and luxury goods worth approximately Rp 1.8 billion.
