Blueray Boss Admits Giving Mazda CX-5 and Luxury Watch to Customs Officials
Blueray boss John Field has admitted giving a Mazda CX-5 car and a luxury TAG Heuer watch to officials at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise. The items were worth hundreds of millions of rupiah.
Field made the admission while testifying as a defendant in an import bribery case at the Jakarta Corruption Court on Friday. He stated that the request for an operational vehicle was conveyed by Sri Pangestuti, a customs brokerage entrepreneur.
When asked by prosecutors about the provision of a car, Field confirmed, “Yes, there was a request from Mrs Tuti for an operational vehicle.” He added that the request was for central customs officials, though he did not know the intended recipient.
Field also confessed to giving a TAG Heuer watch worth Rp 65 million to Orlando Hamonangan, the Head of Intelligence at the Directorate General of Customs and Excise. He confirmed the watch was provided by Blueray.
According to the indictment, the Mazda CX-4 and TAG Heuer watch were given between July 2025 and January 2026. Prosecutors from the Corruption Eradication Commission stated the watch was for Orlando, while the car, valued at Rp 330 million, was for Enov Puji Wijanarko.

The defendants are John Field, Blueray Cargo’s chief; Deddy Kurniawan Sukolo, operations manager; and Andri, head of the documents team. Prosecutors allege the three provided a total of Rp 61.3 billion in Singapore dollar currency, along with various facilities and luxury goods worth Rp 1.8 billion.
