The Tangerang Selatan City Government has underscored the importance of strengthening capacity and service innovations in the implementation of Public Service Agencies (BLUD) in the health sector. This affirmation was delivered by the Secretary of Tangerang Selatan City, Bambang Noertjahjo, during the Monitoring and Evaluation of BLUD Health Sector Implementation for Semester II of 2025, held at the Display Room on the Ground Floor of the Main Building, Puspemkot Tangsel, on Monday (6/4/2026). In his remarks, Bambang stated that the evaluation results show quite good achievements. However, he emphasised that there are still several aspects that need attention, particularly in strengthening human resources, improving the quality of financial reports, and optimising support teams in each service unit. “I want all colleagues to be honest in opening our minds, especially in understanding the evolving developments in services,” he said. To that end, Bambang encouraged internal organisational strengthening through self-conducted or in-house training. This step is considered important to enhance competence as well as the independence of regional apparatus without relying on external parties. According to him, the character of Tangerang Selatan’s community, which quickly adapts to developments, demands public services that are also responsive and adaptive. “The character of Tangerang Selatan’s people is quick in adopting developments, so our services must also keep up,” said Bambang. In addition, he highlighted the importance of optimising the potential revenue from health services. Dependence on financing through BPJS Kesehatan is expected to be balanced with the development of value-added services, while still adhering to applicable regulations. Bambang also invited all ranks to open constructive discussion spaces in the work environment. He assessed that the involvement of health personnel, especially the younger generation, is very important in driving the emergence of service innovations. “Don’t be too rigid, provide space for discussion and opportunities for colleagues, especially the young ones, to express ideas and innovations,” he said. Concluding his remarks, Bambang expressed appreciation for the performance of all related regional apparatus. He affirmed the importance of continuously improving the quality of health services to meet the evolving needs of the community.
