To mark the 2026 Eid al-Adha, blu by BCA Digital has launched the ‘BAZNAS x blu Digital Qurbani’ feature in the latest version of the blu app. The feature enables customers to perform the Qurbani ritual digitally through a streamlined, secure, and transparent process.

The service aims to meet the needs of urban dwellers seeking convenience in performing Qurbani amid fast-paced digital lifestyles and high mobility.

In this service, blu by BCA Digital has partnered with the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) as the official manager and distributor of Qurbani. Through this collaboration, all animals ordered via the blu app are professionally managed, accurately targeted, and compliant with Islamic law.

The ‘BAZNAS x blu Digital Qurbani’ feature allows customers to complete the Qurbani process directly through the app without complex steps.

The service enables customers to perform Qurbani directly via the app without complicated procedures. Users simply follow a few straightforward steps to complete the transaction.

First, open the blu app and click the ‘Transactions’ icon, then select the ‘Pay/Buy’ menu. Next, click on the ‘Zakat & Donations’ service and ensure the customer selects the Qurbani option.

Next, choose the desired animal type based on needs, from goats, sheep, to cattle. Customers then enter the donor’s name for registration and distribution.

Finally, customers read the Qurbani intention before completing payment. Payments are processed instantly and securely using the blu account balance.

The service offers various animal options tailored to customers’ needs and financial plans. The Digital Qurbani feature also provides flexibility for both individual and collective Qurbani.

For individual Qurbani, customers can select one goat or sheep in various weight categories ranging from 21-26kg, 27-29kg, to 30-33kg. This option suits those wishing to perform Qurbani independently.

For collective Qurbani, a 1/7 share of a cow is available for those wishing to share the sacrifice. In this option, customers need to input only one donor name per transaction.

For those wishing to perform Qurbani with family or relatives, a whole cow option weighing 250-300kg is available. This allows customers to input up to seven donor names in a single transaction.

All animal packages are part of an official partnership with BAZNAS. Prices are all-inclusive, covering animal procurement, slaughter services, and meat distribution to eligible recipients.

Building on previous success in zakat integration, transparency in this Qurbani program has been enhanced. Each customer transacting through the feature will receive an official Qurbani certificate.

The certificate is sent directly by BAZNAS to the customer’s registered email in the blu app, accompanied by a Qurbani report as proof the ritual was conducted responsibly.
