BLT Kesra 2026: Disbursement Schedule, Amount, and Eligibility Explained
Recently, information about the disbursement of the People’s Welfare Direct Cash Assistance (BLT Kesra) has been widely sought by the public. So, when is BLT Kesra 2026 scheduled to be disbursed?
According to the official website of the Cabinet Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia, last year the government provided BLT Kesra to 35 million Beneficiary Families (KPM). This assistance targeted KPMs in deciles 1-4 of the National Socio-Economic Single Data (DTSEN).
BLT Kesra was disbursed through the Association of State-Owned Banks (Himbara) in stages over three months, from October to December. In addition to Himbara, the funds were also channelled through PT Pos Indonesia.
The high public enthusiasm to receive BLT Kesra again has also widened opportunities for criminal activity. To avoid being deceived by false information that could lead to material or immaterial losses, readers should verify its authenticity.
When Will BLT Kesra 2026 Be Disbursed?
Based on detikJogja’s investigation, the government, through the Ministry of Social Affairs, has not yet released information on the continuation of BLT Kesra in 2026. Meanwhile, according to the official website of the Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi), news that BLT Kesra would be officially discontinued in 2026 is nothing more than a hoax.
In February 2026, social media was abuzz with information that the distribution of BLT Kesra was being halted. The post claimed that the BLT Kesra funds would be redirected to regular social assistance programmes.
Through Letter Number: 105/1.6/HM.03/2/2026, Head of the Public Relations Bureau Devi Deliani denied the news about the fund reallocation. Thus, as of the time this article was written, the continuation of BLT Kesra 2026 remains unclear.
Readers are advised to regularly monitor updated information from the Ministry of Social Affairs through its official channels. You can also visit your local social affairs office or ask the social facilitators on duty directly.
If the 2025 distribution is any indication, information about BLT Kesra disbursement only emerged in mid-October. The assistance was then disbursed in stages over three months: October, November, and December.
What Is the Amount of BLT Kesra 2026?
Last year, the amount of BLT Kesra disbursed by the government was Rp 300,000 per KPM per month for three months. Consequently, as explained on the official website of the Bima City Social Affairs Office, each KPM would receive a total of Rp 900,000.
For 2026, the amount is unknown, as the government has not yet released information on the continuation of this assistance.
