Legendary director Teguh Karya, 66, died on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.
due to complications from a stroke. He died on his way to
Mintohardjo Naval Hospital in Pejompongan, Central Jakarta. His
body was taken to the Teater Populer studio on Jl. Kebon Pala in
Tanah Abang later on Tuesday. A mass prayer will take place on
Wednesday and he is due to be cremated on Thursday at Cilincing
