Ai Juariah, an Indonesian migrant worker from Cianjur Regency, West Java, has gone viral on social media. Ai, who is suspected of being a victim of human trafficking, is pleading to be repatriated to Indonesia. In a video showing her condition, Ai expressed her desire to be sent home, admitting she can no longer cope. Ai also stated that she works in two houses. She is believed to be employed as a domestic worker. “It is not that I am mentally weak, but I often faint and frequently fall ill,” Ai said while crying and occasionally wiping blood from her face. Ai appealed to the President for help. “Please help me, Mr President, Mr KDM (West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi). I am asking for their help because they are role models for the community,” she said.
