BKPRMI: Prabowo's global diplomacy strengthens national economy

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Central Board of the Indonesian Mosque Youth Communication Board (DPP BKPRMI) supports President Prabowo Subianto’s overseas visits and considers the trip a diplomatic strategy to attract investment, trade, and strategic cooperation beneficial to the national economy. DPP BKPRMI Deputy Chairman Sedek Rahman Bahta stressed that amid increasingly tight global competition, high-level diplomacy is an important instrument for fighting for national interests, expanding market access, attracting investment, and increasing Indonesia’s competitiveness. “The President must be present at various international forums to ensure that Indonesia is not just a spectator, but becomes an important part in determining the direction of global economic cooperation and development,” Bahta said in a written statement received by Antara in Jakarta on Thursday. Therefore, he invited all elements of the nation to support the government’s strategic steps in strengthening Indonesia’s position as an economic power to be reckoned with in the region and the world. “Strong diplomacy will strengthen the national economy and ultimately improve the welfare of the Indonesian people,” he said.
