Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Capital Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) and the Indonesia Restaurant and Hotel Association (IRHA) have agreed to cooperate in promoting their common visions and missions to increase investment at home.

BKPM head Gita Wirjawan and PHRI chief Yanti Sukamdani signed a memonrandum of understanding here on Wednesday regarding their cooperation to promote the vision and mission.

Gita said that the cooperation comprised promotions and placement of BKPM brochures on investment data at hotels throughout the country.

"Investment developments with the theme `Invest in Remarkable Indonesia` will be published in the brochures," he said.

He said that the investment information contained in the brochures and disseminated at hotels and restaurants was expected to attract foreign guests visiting Indonesia to invest in the country.

"With the cooperation prospective investors, domestic or foreign, will get easy access to information and investment data in Indonesia," he said.

In the meantime, Yanti Sukamdani said that the cooperation could help the government generate national economic grwoth. "Promotion and exchanges of information constitute daily activities of PHRI," she said.

She said that PHRI was an organization which grouped about 10,000 members from non-star until five star-rated hotels in 33 provinces in Indonesia.
