BKPM: Direct Investment Resilient Against Global Shocks
The Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM has stated that direct investment is a key pillar supporting national economic growth, owing to its long-term and stable nature. Spokesperson Dendy Apriandi noted that this form of investment is more resilient compared to capital flows in financial markets, which are highly vulnerable to global sentiment shifts. In the first quarter of 2026, Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) realisation reached Rp250.0 trillion, representing 50.1 percent of the total investment realisation of Rp498.8 trillion.
