The Jambi City Government has once again achieved national-level recognition. Under the leadership of Mayor Dr. Maulana and Vice Mayor Diza Hazra Aljosha, the Jambi City Government, through the Department of Investment and One-Stop Integrated Services (DPMPTSP), successfully secured a ‘Very Good’ predicate in the 202 $ ext{6}$ Performance Assessment of Integrated Services and Business Acceleration (PENKIN). This assessment was organised by the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) of the Republic of Indonesia.

Jambi City achieved a score of 86.622 within the city government category across Indonesia. This achievement represents a significant increase of 6.576 points compared to the previous year’s score of 80.046. This success positions Jambi City as one of the regions with the best licensing service performance in Indonesia, even recording higher scores than several other major cities, such as Yogyakarta, Makassar, Depok, Bogor, South Tangerang, and Malang.

This achievement serves as tangible evidence of the Jambi City Government’s commitment to providing public services that are increasingly high-quality, effective, transparent, and focused on ease of doing business. The award also confirms the success of the Jambi City Government in fostering a conducive investment climate through the strengthening of integrated and digital-based licensing service systems.

Mayor of Jambi, Dr Maulana, expressed his appreciation for the city’s achievement in attaining the ‘Very Good’ predicate in the 2026 PENKIN evaluation. “This achievement shows that the efforts undertaken by the Jambi City Government are on the right track. We continue to strive to provide services that are fast, easy, transparent, accountable, and provide legal certainty to the community,” he stated.

He noted that the 2026 PENKIN results serve not only as a measure of public service quality but also as a vital indicator in building public trust in the government, particularly the trust of business actors in Jambi’s investment climate. “Trust is the primary capital in building investment. When public services operate well, transparently, and professionally, public trust will grow, which will have a positive impact on increasing investment and regional economic growth,” he added.

Maulana also extended his appreciation to the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming/BKPM and the independent assessment team for conducting an objective, comprehensive, and professional evaluation process. He noted that the assessment process—ranging from administrative verification and supporting document inspections to field visits (fact-finding) to the Jambi City DPMPTSP—provided a complete picture of the quality of services provided to the community.
