BK8 Gresini Racing Enthusiastic About Collaborating with Indonesian Local Products

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Carlo Merlini, the Commercial and Marketing Director of Gresini Racing, stated that the racing team is enthusiastic about establishing a partnership with the Indonesian local product Chocolatos, managed by Garudafood, as it will strengthen ties with the Indonesian people.

According to him, the partnership is not merely a collaboration between a racing team and a food and beverage brand, but also brings together two journeys with a similar spirit to strengthen the recognition of both entities, specifically in Indonesia and more broadly across Southeast Asia.

“Both parties share the desire to continue growing, facing various challenges, and moving to the next level,” said Carlo during a press conference regarding the partnership between Chocolatos and BK8 Gresini Racing in Jakarta on Monday.

He explained that Gresini Racing maintains a strong relationship with Indonesia. Therefore, the presence of Chocolatos as a partner provides an opportunity for the team to move closer to the Indonesian public through world-class motorcycle racing events.

In addition to strengthening ties with the Southeast Asian market, the collaboration with Chocolatos is also aimed at providing new experiences for racing fans in Indonesia.

Carlo added that the Italian-based MotoGP team intends to utilise this partnership to build a stronger connection with the community through various activities that bring the team, the brand, and the fans together.

The partnership is also set to bring Indonesian products to the global sporting stage. A significant momentum for this realisation will be the participation in the 2026 Indonesian Grand Prix at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit from 9-11 October. This event, he added, is expected to serve as a positive momentum for both parties.
