BiZNET, SingTel sign marketing alliance
JAKARTA: Internet service provider and data center company PT
Supra Primatama (BiZNET) and Singapore's telecommunications firm
Singapore Telecommunications Ltd. (SingTel) signed a marketing
alliance on Thursday to sell each other services in Indonesia and
other countries in the Asia Pacific region.
BiZNET president Adi Kusma said that the marketing alliance
would boost its revenues to US$2 million this year.
"Our target customers will include large financial
institutions, companies setting up businesses on the web, dot com
companies, e-marketplaces, and application service providers," he
said.
The alliance will help SingTel to access the Indonesian market
through the BiZNET data center while BiZNET will have access to
regional markets through SingTel's Internet Exchange (STiX) in
Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Australia.
