The crypto market is showing signs of recovery after geopolitical tensions between the United States and Iran began to ease. The initial agreement between the two countries to end the conflict, along with the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, has served as a positive catalyst, encouraging investors to re-enter high-risk assets, including Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. This development has triggered a strengthening of several major digital assets in recent days. Bitcoin briefly touched the $65,900 level after previously coming under pressure due to heightened global uncertainty. Indodax Chief Marketing Officer Aloysia Dian stated that the improvement in global sentiment has provided room for investors to increase their exposure to high-volatility assets. She explained that the market had been moving cautiously over the past few weeks, overshadowed by geopolitical risks in the Middle East. However, after signals of peace emerged between Washington and Tehran, interest in crypto assets picked up again. Bitcoin’s significant strengthening in a short period reflects this shift. Based on CoinMarketCap data on Monday, 15 June 2026, Bitcoin was trading in the range of $63,900 to $65,900, marking an increase of about 2 per cent in 24 hours. Its position was also nearly 8 per cent higher than the previous week’s low, which had fallen below $60,900. The recovery was not limited to Bitcoin. Other large-cap crypto assets also recorded significant gains. Ethereum rose approximately 5.1 per cent to reach $1,758, while Solana strengthened by around 6.6 per cent, trading at $72.6. XRP also showed positive performance, climbing about 7.1 per cent to hit the $1.2 level.
