Bisnis-27 Index Opens Higher Driven by ADRO, MEDC, and UNTR Shares

Bisnis.com, JAKARTA – The Bisnis-27 index opened with an upward movement, contrary to the weakening of the IHSG. The Bisnis-27 index opened stronger, driven by shares such as ADRO, MEDC, and UNTR. Based on data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI), this index, a collaboration with the daily Bisnis Indonesia, opened at 487.48 but gradually moved into positive territory, strengthening by 0.22% to 489.82 shortly after opening. Of the 27 constituents, 14 shares opened in the green, four were stagnant, and nine others opened in the red. Shares of PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk. (ADRO) led the index’s strengthening with a rise of 2.41% or 60 points to Rp2,550. Next, shares of PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk. (MEDC) strengthened by 2.37% to Rp1,725. Other issuers that strengthened this morning include UNTR, BBCA, and MIKA, rising by 1.78% to Rp31,475 for UNTR, up 1.54% to Rp6,600 for BBCA, and strengthening 1.42% to Rp2,140 for MIKA. Meanwhile, shares that weakened were experienced by PT Adaro Minerals Indonesia Tbk. (ADMR), which fell 3.98% or 80 points to Rp1,930. This was followed by PT Bumi Resources Tbk. (BUMI) which dropped 3.36% to Rp230 and PT Barito Pacific Tbk. (BRPT) which fell 2.40% to Rp1,425. On the other hand, the Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) opened weaker at 7,153.11 in trading on Thursday (2/3/2026). Shortly after the opening of trading today, the IHSG moved in the range of 7,131-7,156. Recorded, 215 shares strengthened, 212 shares weakened, and 214 shares moved in place. The IHSG market capitalisation was monitored at Rp12,610 trillion.
