‘Bismillah Bisa Qurban’ Campaign Draws Attention at Jakarta’s Car-Free Day
On Sunday morning, the Car-Free Day (CFD) area in Sudirman, Jakarta, was filled with residents exercising and enjoying the weekend atmosphere. Amidst the crowds at the Bundaran HI roundabout, Laznas Dewan Dakwah arrived to promote the spirit of sharing through their campaign titled “Bismillah Bisa Qurban”.
With a warm and optimistic tone, the campaign serves as an invitation to the public to view the ritual of qurban (animal sacrifice) not merely as an annual routine, but as a tangible form of social concern for brothers and sisters in need, ranging from the remote corners of the country to Palestine. The atmosphere became even more vibrant when Pizaro Gozali Idrus delivered a humanitarian oration in front of the Selamat Datang Monument. In his message, he invited the community to interpret qurban as a symbol of solidarity and a way to strengthen communal bonds.
“Through the spirit of Bismillah Bisa Qurban, we want to invite the public to be confident that everyone has the opportunity to share and bring happiness to others,” said Pizaro before the crowd gathered in the area.
Throughout the Car-Free Day area, volunteers and staff from Laznas Dewan Dakwah were active in socialising their qurban programmes to the public. Various campaign attributes, educational banners, and even mirror selfie areas were provided to attract the attention of residents and bring them closer to the proposed qurban programmes. Many citizens paused to enquire about the available offerings, which include qurban programmes for remote areas of Indonesia, suburban regions, as well as humanitarian programmes for communities in Palestine and Africa, as part of Laznas Dewan Dakwah’s efforts to expand the benefits of qurban.
