Biskita Depok to Add New Routes to Sawangan and Citayam, Here Are the Routes

DEPOK, KOMPAS.com – The BISKITA Trans Depok service will be expanded with the addition of two new corridors. The Depok City Transportation Agency (Dishub) stated that this step is being taken to improve public transportation services while reducing traffic congestion. Head of the Transport Division of Dishub Depok, Aan Syurahman, said that currently BISKITA Trans Depok only serves one corridor, namely from Terminal Margonda to Harjamukti LRT Station. The Depok City Government has proposed the addition of two new corridors, namely: Aan explained that these routes were designed based on studies of community needs as well as efforts to provide more integrated and wider-reaching public transport services. “These routes were selected based on studies and the community’s needs for integrated public transport services that reach wider areas,” Aan said, quoted from the official Depok City Government website. Coordination has also been conducted with the Ministry of Transportation regarding the planned development of these services. Aan added that after the management process is completed, the operation of BISKITA Trans Depok will be directly managed by the Depok city government. “This year, hopefully the management can already run optimally,” he said. The development of new routes is expected to expand the service coverage and enhance connectivity between areas in Depok City.
