Bireuen Regency: Flood victims' living allowance to begin distribution on 6 April
Spokesperson for the Bireuen Regency Government, Muhajir Juli, stated that the living allowance (jadup) assistance for flood and landslide victims in the area will begin to be distributed on Monday (6 April) through PT Pos Indonesia. “Today, the jadup assistance will be symbolically handed over by Bireuen Regent Mukhlis to 100 beneficiaries at the Regent’s Pendopo,” he said when contacted in Banda Aceh on Friday. He mentioned that a total of Rp22.1 billion in jadup will be distributed to 16,374 individuals from 4,759 family heads who are victims of the flood and landslide disasters. “Each disaster victim will receive Rp15,000 per day or Rp450,000 per month for three months,” he said. “The jadup recipients come from victims whose homes fall into the categories of lightly damaged, moderately damaged, and severely damaged/lost,” he added. He further explained that in the upcoming disbursement process, each beneficiary will be contacted by PT Pos Indonesia through their respective village heads. Previously, he also stated that the first phase of housing stimulus assistance for flood and landslide disaster victims in the regency is in the process of being transferred to recipients’ accounts. “The first phase housing stimulus assistance has been issued through Bireuen Regent’s Decree Number: 300.2.2/63 of 2026 regarding the Determination of Recipients of Housing Stimulus Assistance for Houses Affected by Floods and Landslides Phase I in the Bireuen Regency Area,” he said. He explained that the first phase housing stimulus assistance was symbolically handed over earlier by the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (PMK), Pratikno, and is currently in the process of transfer to the recipients’ accounts.
