Bird's eye chillies Rp82,300/kg, shallots Rp43,450/kg Thursday morning

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The National Information Centre for Strategic Food Prices (PIHPS), managed by Bank Indonesia, recorded that by Thursday 10:00 WIB the price of red bird’s eye chilli per kilogram was Rp82,300, while shallots were Rp43,450 per kg.

According to data from PIHPS released in Jakarta, besides red bird’s eye chilli, other prices at the national retail level include garlic at Rp39,350 per kg.

In addition, lower-quality rice for grade I was Rp14,300 per kg, lower-quality II Rp14,500 per kg. Meanwhile, medium-quality I was Rp15,600 per kg, and medium-quality II Rp15,650 per kg.

Then, super-quality I rice was Rp16,700 per kg, and super-quality II Rp16,450 per kg.

Furthermore, PIHPS recorded large red chillies at Rp38,800 per kg, curly red chillies at Rp40,300 per kg, and green bird’s eye chilli at Rp48,600 per kg.

Next, commodity prices for sugar include premium grade at Rp19,850 per kg, local sugar at Rp18,550 per kg.

Meanwhile, bulk cooking oil was priced at Rp19,050 per litre, branded packaged cooking oil grade I at Rp22,550 per litre, and branded packaged cooking oil grade II at Rp22,100 per litre.

Additionally, PIHPS notes the price of everyday chicken eggs at Rp32,600 per kg.
