Bird's eye chilli at Rp77,250/kg, chicken eggs at Rp30,800/kg as of 1 June

Jakarta (ANTARA) - Red bird’s eye chilli prices stood at Rp77,250 per kilogram and chicken eggs at Rp30,800 per kilogram on 1 June 2026, according to data from the National Strategic Food Price Information Centre (PIHPS) managed by Bank Indonesia at the consumer level. PIHPS data released in Jakarta on Monday at 9:47 WIB also recorded shallots at Rp50,200 per kg, garlic at Rp40,200 per kg. Furthermore, Grade I lower-quality rice was priced at Rp14,200 per kg, Grade II at Rp13,850 per kg, while Grade I medium-quality rice was at Rp15,400 per kg and Grade II at Rp14,950 per kg. Super Grade I rice was priced at Rp16,950 per kg and Super Grade II at Rp16,250 per kg. PIHPS also recorded prices for large red chilli at Rp62,850 per kg, curly red chilli at Rp63,800 per kg, and green bird’s eye chilli at Rp41,600 per kg. Fresh chicken meat was priced at Rp42,000 per kg, Grade I beef at Rp135,450 per kg, and Grade II beef at Rp130,050 per kg. Premium white sugar was priced at Rp20,700 per kg and local white sugar at Rp19,350 per kg. Meanwhile, loose cooking oil was priced at Rp20,200 per litre, branded cooking oil Grade I at Rp24,850 per litre, and Grade II at Rp23,200 per litre.
