Biological Mother of Boy Who Died from Abuse in Sukabumi Was Told to Be Dead

Lisnawati, the biological mother of a boy identified as NS (13) who allegedly died from abuse, has formally reported her ex-husband, identified as AS, to the Sukabumi District Police. Lisnawati’s lawyer revealed that AS had deceived his son by telling him his biological mother had died.

This was disclosed by Lisnawati’s lawyer, Krisna Murti, on Monday (23/2/2026). Krisna Murti revealed the heartbreaking reason behind the severed communication between Lisnawati and NS over the past four years.

It emerged that Lisnawati had also experienced domestic violence, which left her deeply traumatised.

“For four years, the biological mother had not seen her child because she was obstructed from doing so. She was even told that her child had been informed his mother was dead. Why did the mother not try to find her child? Because of trauma. The mother suffered trauma — she had experienced domestic violence since her pregnancy. Her hair was cut with what, Ma’am?” Krisna asked, as reported by detikJabar.

“Cut with a machete,” Lisnawati answered softly.

The police report was filed on the basis of alleged negligence by the father when the victim’s health deteriorated before his death.

“Our client is a mother who has lost her child. This means she is reporting as a victim who has lost her child. There is reason to suspect negligence and wilful neglect in this case, and therefore our client has authorised us to report AS,” Krisna said.
