Binus Kebon Jeruk Auditorium After Fire Extinguished

A fire at the Binus campus auditorium in Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta, has been extinguished. The blaze prompted the evacuation of the campus, with all lectures shifted online while safety checks are carried out. The roof and walls showed signs of scorching; parts of the roof were left open after the fire. According to photos received by detikcom on Friday, 22 May 2026, firefighters and campus authorities checked the condition of the burning auditorium. The seats in the auditorium looked wet from being sprayed with water during firefighting. The auditorium roof, made of plywood and the wall edges, showed signs of burning. Parts of the roof were also exposed as a result of the fire.
