SINGAPORE (AFP): Singapore and Indonesia ministers will meet today to review progress of cooperation in the Riau Islands, a trade and industry ministry statement said yesterday.
Deputy Prime Minister Brigadier-General Lee Hsien Loong will lead the Singapore delegation to the fifth Joint Ministerial Committee meeting on nearby Bintan island, the statement said.
The delegation includes Trade and Industry Minister Yeo Cheow Tong and Goh Chee Wee, the Minister of State for Trade and Industry and Communications.
The projects to be reviewed include the Bintan Beach International Resort, the Bintan Industrial Estate, the Karimun Petroleum Complex and Karimun Industrial Estate.
