Indonesia’s national Belanja di Indonesia Aja (BINA) Lebaran 2026 programme has officially been launched to boost domestic consumption during Ramadan up to Eid al-Fitr. The programme runs from 6 to 30 March 2026, involving more than 400 shopping centres and around 80,000 stores across various regions in Indonesia. During the period, the public can enjoy a range of promotions and discounts of up to 70 per cent across different product categories, from fashion, electronics, household goods, to culinary offerings. Through the programme, the government targets total transactions of Rp53.38 trillion. The target is expected to strengthen household consumption while supporting economic growth at the start of the year. “This is evidenced by the Consumer Confidence Index at level 127, indicating public optimism about the economic conditions,” Airlangga said at the Opening Ceremony & Buka Bersama BINA Lebaran 2026 in Central Jakarta, Friday (6/3/2026). To bolster purchasing power, the government has also disbursed a number of economic stimuli at the start of the year. Among them are social assistance in the form of rice and cooking oil for millions of beneficiary families. Airlangga said the various policies are expected to strengthen domestic consumption while supporting the BINA transaction target. “With these stimuli, we hope the Belanja di Indonesia Aja (BINA) programme, which targets transactions of around Rp53 trillion, can further boost domestic consumption,” he said. Through the BINA Lebaran 2026 programme, around 800 brands across various categories will participate by offering large promotions to the public.
