Bima Regent Inaugurates 10 OPD Heads, Requests Preparation of Flagship Programmes within 30 Days
Bima Regent Ady Mahyudi inaugurated 10 heads of Organisational Units for Regional Devices (OPDs) under the Bima Regency Government in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). Ady requested that the newly appointed department heads prepare two to three flagship programmes within 30 days.
Ady expressed this during the inauguration and oath-taking ceremony for the 10 OPD heads of Bima Regency Government at the main meeting room of the Regent’s Office, on Saturday (18/4) evening. He reminded that each OPD’s programmes must be relevant, measurable, have broad impact, and be directly felt by the community.
“Within a period of 90 days, there must be tangible progress, initial outputs, and impacts that begin to be felt by the community,” Ady stated in his remarks on Sunday (20/4/2026).
The inauguration of these 10 echelon II positions is based on the Bima Regent’s Decree Number: 821.2/285/07.2/Year 2026. Ady assured that the 10 inaugurated officials are the result of the Open Selection for High Leadership Positions (JPT) within Bima Regency Government in 2026.
“They were selected based on capacity, not closeness,” he added.
According to Ady, the inauguration of these 10 officials is not merely an administrative ceremony. He asked the new OPD heads to be ready to work concretely for the progress of Bima Regency.
“For that reason, performance must be commensurate with the trust given,” Ady said.
Ady also reminded all officials to understand and implement Bima’s dignified regional development vision into strategic programmes in their respective OPDs. He allowed officials unable to meet targets to evaluate themselves.
“I remind that there should be no more programmes that have no impact or merely spend the budget without real results,” Ady stated.
“What I assess is not the length of reports, but real results in the field,” concluded the Secretary of the NTB PAN Regional Leadership Council.
