Bima Housewife Questioned for 4 Hours Over Complaint from SPPG Partner Regarding Free Nutritious Meal Post

Emi Ernawati (previously written as Emilia) complied with the summons from investigators at Bima City Police Resort, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). This 35-year-old housewife was reported by a partner of the Nutrition Fulfilment Service Unit (SPPG) Oi Tui, in Wera Subdistrict, Bima Regency, for criticising the free nutritious meal (MBG) menu on social media. Emi underwent examination for five hours.

“Today I was questioned by the police from 10:00 to 14:00 WITA regarding the report from SPPG partner Oi Tui about my criticism of the MBG menu,” said Emi when interviewed by detikBali on Tuesday (14/4/2026).

During the four-hour examination, Emi claimed she was only asked for statements and clarifications by the investigators regarding the MBG menu video she uploaded to her Facebook account @Arif Emilia on Tuesday (31/3/2026). The video was deemed to tarnish the reputation of the SPPG Oi Tui owner and violate the Electronic Information and Transactions Law.

“It was just clarification. Nothing else,” said Emi.

As the reported party, Emi claimed to feel wronged. Because the video she uploaded never mentioned or tarnished anyone’s reputation. She only criticised the MBG menu that was distributed in one plastic container (not a traditional lunch box) and had to be collected at night.

“It was purely my criticism of the MBG menu distributed at night. There was no defamation of anyone in that video,” she said.

In addition, Emi claimed she had never criticised the MBG menu distributed by SPPG Oi Tui before. Considering she is one of the beneficiaries of the MBG category for breastfeeding mothers.

“I criticised only to make the MBG programme better in the future. But why was I reported to the police,” she said.

Emi emphasised that she would remain cooperative and had not thought about countersuing the SPPG Oi Tui partner. So far, moral support for her has continued to pour in. From her husband, family, students, to the general public.

“Since being reported by the SPPG partner until being questioned by the police today, I have not met with this SPPG Oi Tui partner,” she said.

The reporter, who is also the SPPG Oi Tui partner, Erniwati, declined to comment when confirmed by detikBali. She entrusted the matter to the legal realm.

“Let the police apparatus process it legally,” she said.

The Head of Criminal Investigation at Bima City Police Resort, AKP Dwi Kurniawan Kusuma Putra, confirmed the summoning of Emi. Dwi said Emi was called as the reported party only for clarification regarding the video she uploaded.

“It was just clarification by the Tipidter Unit investigators earlier. The reporter will also be called for clarification later,” Dwi stressed.
