BII to enter Manila

MANILA (AFP): Bank Internasional Indonesia (BII) has received permission to set up a representative office in the Philippines, the Central Bank of the Philippines said here yesterday.

Bank Internasional, the third largest private bank in Indonesia, will become the 29th foreign bank to set up a representative office in the Philippines.

It will be the third Indonesian bank after Bank Dagang Nasional Indonesia and PT LippoBank to set up an office here, the central bank said.
