Jakarta, VIVA – The alleged involvement of minors in the promotion of vape products during live broadcasts has resulted in legal reports. Streamer Muhammad Jannah, known as Bigmo, has been reported to the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI), the National Commission for Child Protection, and the Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection (KemenPPPA) by content creator Sadam Permana.

Through a post on his personal Instagram account, Sadam stated that he has submitted reports to several agencies responsible for child protection.

Commenting on Bigmo’s actions, the Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI), Ahmad Sahroni, has urged law enforcement to take firm action. He argued that involving minors in the promotion of vapes constitutes a serious violation.

“Bigmo’s promotion of vapes to small children is no longer a joke or a prank, because this clearly violates the law. Advertising nicotine on social media is prohibited, let alone to small children. Therefore, many aspects have been violated. This individual has had many previous cases. The previous ones could be forgiven and released, but the current situation can no longer be ignored because it clearly breaks the law,” Sahroni stated in his remarks on Saturday, 1 August 2026.

Furthermore, Sahroni has requested that the police and the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) block Bigmo’s YouTube account. He believes the streamer’s actions have gone too far and pose a danger to children.

“I also request Komdigi and the police to ask YouTube Indonesia to block Bigmo’s YouTube account. This is because too many rules have been violated. He has been provocative, and now someone has reported him. Therefore, we ask the police and relevant agencies to act quickly. Legal penalties must be enforced according to the applicable legal procedures,” said Sahroni.
