Bigmo and Resbob Finally Named Suspects in Azizah Salsha Defamation Case, Bareskrim Speaks Out
Jakarta – VIVA – The case of alleged defamation filed by social media influencer Nurul Azizah Rosiade, also known as Azizah Salsha, against two well-known YouTubers, Resbob and Bigmo, has heated up.
The two YouTubers named by Azizah have officially been designated as suspects by investigators from the Cyber Crime Directorate of the Indonesian Police (Bareskrim Polri). The designation of suspect status was made after investigators held a case conference this week.
“It is done (as suspects), this week (case conference for designation),” said the head of Sub-Directorate I of the Cyber Crime Directorate of Bareskrim Polri, Senior Commissioner Rizki Agung Prakoso, on Thursday, 5 March 2026.
After their legal status was elevated to suspects, investigators plan to summon them for further questioning. Bigmo and Resbob, who are known to be siblings, will be questioned in their capacity as suspects. However, police have not yet disclosed when the examinations will take place.
“They will be scheduled (for questioning),” he said.
Earlier reports said the defamation case filed by social media influencer Nurul Azizah Rosiade alias Azizah Salsha against the two famous YouTubers, Resbob and Bigmo, has officially entered a new phase.
Police have elevated the report from Nurul Azizah Rosiade alias Zize, daughter of politician Andre Rosiade, to the investigation stage. This move signals that investigators have found criminal elements in the report that had attracted public and social media attention.
“It has moved to investigation,” said Rizki Agung Prakoso, on Tuesday, 28 October 2025.
Meanwhile, mediation efforts between siblings Adimas Firdaus alias Resbob and Muhammad Jannah alias Bigmo with Nurul Azizah Rosiade alias Azizah Salsha ended in a stalemate. The meeting at the Police’s Criminal Investigation Agency, South Jakarta, on Friday, 19 September 2025, failed to yield a peace agreement. Although Bigmo and Resbob had already expressed apologies, Azizah still chose for the legal process to continue.
“But in that mediation there may still not be an agreement for peace, perhaps the legal process will continue,” Azizah’s counsel Anandya Dipo Pratama said.
For the record, Azizah officially reported the two podcasters to Bareskrim Polri after her name was dragged into a viral social media affair. The respondents are the owners of TikTok account @ibaratbradprittt and YouTube account @niceguymo, which are known to be operated by Muhammad Janna alias Bigmo and Adimas Firdaus alias Resbob.
