IBRA finalizing Bank Niaga deal: As of 11:55 p.m. Friday night
the Indonesian Bank Restructuring Agency (IBRA) was still
finalizing details for an agreement to sell a 51 percent stake in
Bank Niaga to Malaysia's Commerce Assets Holding Bhd. IBRA said
it would sign a deal either after midnight or later on Saturday
afternoon. The agency's spokesman Raymond Van Beekum, said both
sides were finalizing the legal wording on the sales and purchase
agreement and neither had any explicit intention of delaying the
