Manado (ANTARA) - Head of the Bank Indonesia (BI) Representative Office for North Sulawesi Province, Joko Supratikto, said the Urban Digifest X Sulut Coffee Fest 2026 is targeted to record transactions of Rp6 billion.

“We are targeting transactions this year to increase by around 10 percent compared to last year’s figure of only Rp5.5 billion,” Joko said at the Soft Opening of Urban Digifest X Sulut Coffee Fest 2026 in Manado on Wednesday.

He said this year, his office is targeting 60,000 visitors to Urban Digifest X Sulut Coffee Fest 2026, an increase of 10 percent compared to last year’s 55,000 people.

Joko explained that the success of Urban Digifest is not solely measured by transaction figures, visitor numbers or financing, but is also expected to create a sustainable multiplier effect for MSMEs, the regional economy and the people of North Sulawesi.

Urban Digifest 2026 carries the theme “Rupa Rasa Kawanua: Meracik Tradisi, Menyeduh Inovasi.”

Joko explained that the theme conveys three main messages. First, ‘rupa rasa Kawanua’, or the term for Manadonese people, which depicts efforts to elevate the identity and leading potential of North Sulawesi.

“‘Rupa’ depicts the wealth of works and creativity, while ‘rasa’ represents the culinary richness and leading commodities of Kawanua,” he explained.

The Head of BI North Sulawesi said this wealth serves as a mirror of North Sulawesi’s identity that must be continuously preserved, developed and promoted.

Therefore, Urban Digifest 2026 presents more than 200 MSMEs with various leading regional creative products displayed across several areas, including Wale Rupa, which relates to traditional textiles, fashion and crafts, and Wale Rasa, which features food, beverages and ready-to-eat products.
