For those planning to apply for a Home Ownership Loan (KPR), business capital loans, or new credit cards, it is advisable to check your financial track record first. Indonesian citizens can now independently, officially, and freely check their loan status, payment history, and creditworthiness level.

It should be noted that this credit history check no longer uses the BI Checking service from Bank Indonesia. Since 2018, this authority has been fully transferred to the Financial Services Authority (OJK) through a system called the Financial Information Service System (SLIK).

The public can access this service online via the official OJK iDebku portal at https://idebku.ojk.go.id. This platform is directly integrated with OJK’s head office and regional offices throughout Indonesia, ensuring the data presented is accurate and legally valid.

Through this portal, your entire debt history—from commercial banks, multi-finance companies, to technology-based lending providers—will be visible transparently.

What Information is Available in OJK’s SLIK?

The Debtor Information Report (iDeb) issued by OJK contains comprehensive details of all credit facilities you currently hold or have previously held, including:

  • Working Capital & Investment Loans

  • Motor Vehicle Loans (KKB)

  • Home or Apartment Ownership Loans (KPR)

  • Unsecured Loans (KTA) & Credit Cards

  • Secured Loans (Gold, deposits, or other assets)

  • Payment history and smoothness status (Collectability: Current, Substandard, Doubtful, to Bad Debt)

This data serves as the primary reference (scoring) for banks and financial institutions before approving your new credit application.
