BI Central Java: National QRIS Week in Central Java Records 33,087 Transactions

Semarang (ANTARA) - The Bank Indonesia Representative Office for Central Java has announced that the 2026 National QRIS Week (PQN) in Central Java recorded 33,087 QRIS transactions over the course of one week.

The Head of the BI Central Java Representative Office, M. Noor Nugroho, stated in a statement in Semarang on Sunday that the 20206 PQN Central Java achieved significant results, with a total transaction value of Rp149.78 million.

According to him, PQN 2026 was held simultaneously across all Bank Indonesia domestic representative offices from 11–17 August 2026, featuring a variety of activities.

Carrying the national theme “Celebrate Digitalisation! One QRIS, Many Wins” and the regional slogan “Ayo Nganggo QRIS” (Let’s Use QRIS), the series of activities served as a momentum to increase literacy and the acceptance of digital payment transactions across various layers of society in Central Java.

Furthermore, he noted that the implementation of PQN also helped accelerate the implementation of Electronic-Based Local Government Transactions (ETPD).

Throughout the week, PQN 2026 in Central Java was enlivened by various flagship programmes across different segments. In the education sector, there was a massive
