Bank Indonesia (BI) has officially launched the publication of money market transaction yield curves to strengthen efficiency and transparency in price formation within the domestic money market. Ramdan Denny Prakoso, Executive Director of the BI Communications Department, stated that this curve reflects actual price conditions formed in the secondary market, providing a more accurate and transaction-based benchmark for all market participants.

“The publication was launched starting 8 June 2026, and can be accessed on the Bank Indonesia website at www.bi.go.id under the Main Functions - Monetary - INDONIA and Other Money Market Prices menu,” Denny said in an official statement on Monday (8/6/2026).

The yield curve is calculated based on the weighted average price and volume of actual Repurchase Agreement (Repo) and Bank Indonesia Rupiah Securities (SRBI) transactions in the secondary market. The data includes 1-month Repo tenors, as well as 3, 6, and 12-month SRBI tenors.

“Publication will take place every Monday or the first working day of each week at 10:00 WIB, containing daily data from the previous working week,” Denny added.

Denny explained that this initiative is part of Bank Indonesia’s commitment, alongside the National Working Group on Benchmark Reform (NWGBR), to strengthen domestic benchmark interest rate reforms and encourage the development of a modern, transparent, efficient, and transaction-based financial market. “This publication is expected to increase efficiency in money market price formation, encourage liquidity in secondary market transactions, deepen the domestic financial market, and strengthen the effectiveness of monetary policy transmission.”
