Social assistance for earthquake victims in Manggarai, East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), continues to flow from both the local government and the Indonesian National Police (Polri).

On this occasion, the Chairperson of the Bhayangkari Manggarai Branch, Tantri Levi Defriansyah, alongside members of the Bhayangkari Manggarai Police, distributed social aid to residents affected by the earthquake in Cibal District. This action serves as a manifestation of care and attention towards the disaster-affected community.

“Today, we are carrying out the distribution of social assistance to residents in the Cibal District, Manggarari Regency, as a form of Bhayangkari’s attention and care for those impacted by the earthquake,” said Mrs Tantri Levi, who is also a lawyer.

Furthermore, the social activity was conducted alongside Vera Asadoma, the wife of the Vice Governor of NTT, and Meldiyanti Hagur, the wife of the Regent of Manggarai, as a tangible expression of concern for the community currently facing the impacts of the disaster.

They interacted with residents in the displacement camps to provide moral support, particularly to children.

“The distributed aid is expected to alleviate the burden on residents and meet some of their needs during this recovery period,” she added.

The presence of these figures further strengthens the spirit of togetherness and synergy in providing attention and support to the disaster-affected population.

Through this activity, Bhayangkari Polres Manggarai continues to demonstrate its commitment to being present among the community, sharing care, and providing humanitarian support to those in need.

“Bhayangkari Cares, Present for the Nation, Sharing with Others. The distribution includes 1,000 boxes of rice, sanitary pads, nappies, milk, children’s toys, and trauma healing support,” she concluded.
